The opposite of laser like focus

How does one deal with way too many ideas but not enough time to work on them?

I’ve got about three or four projects in my head and spread across multiple folders on my computer that I am developing simultaneously.  All excite me, and get my creative juices flowing but yet I can’t seem to focus on any one project long enough to see it to its end.  I found myself bouncing from one to the other like a baby in a room full of new toys.

30 Day Art challenge

I was reading someone’s post on Google+ about 30 day challenges. It was asking everyone to make up our own and try to make it through for the whole 30 days.

I figured since I have problems drawing on a day to say basis for reasons to numerous to go into here, I’d give that a shot.

So here’s day one. It’s a head sketch for a reboot I have in mind for the Mask and Cape characters I worked on a few years ago. I never liked the original character designs. I felt they weren’t well thought out in terms of being drawn in movement and overall seemed to come out of the 90’s Image style.

Brigade

Rob Liefeld's BrigadeAs you may or may not know, for reasons I can’t even explain, I’m a fan of Rob Liefeld’s Brigade. I just think it felt into the so-bad-it’s-good category. I have tons of sketches and doodles in my sketchbooks of the various characters in the team. I thought I would share with you an old one that I just came across the other day.
I’ve pulled it into Photoshop and have started playing with the sketch. If I like the way it comes out I’ll upload that file as well.
